Witching Time "Tammy" or "Tim Tam" as she was affectionately known, was my pride and joy as a teenager. She was my first feature race winner claiming the 1995 Wangaratta Cup when I was 19 years of age and she will always be a very special to me.
 
As a brood bitch she was sensational! Her first litter to Head Honcho of nine pups produced eight winners including Witch Honcho who had 25 Starts for 11 Wins, 4 Seconds and a third with $61,545 in prizemoney including the 1998 Warrnambool Classic. Witch Dance won the Rosebowl Classic, Past Midnight was a Shepparton Cup Finalist and Witchita who turned out to be a Group 1, track record holding producer. The likes of Star Witch, Prince Warlock and Magical Spell.
 
Her second litter was to Star Title with the best performed being Ragged Title. He had 58 Starts for 15 Wins, 13 Seconds and 11 Thirds with stakemoney of $32,780
 
She re-visited Head Honcho for her third litter which unfortunately only resulted in two pups being born. Time To Star being one of them and a great producer in her own right with the likes of stud dog Time Fly's who had a fantastic race record of 31 starts, 18 Wins, 8 Seconds and 1 Third with $34,780 in stakemoney. Another litter mate was Timeing who had 37 starts for 13 Wins, 11 Seconds and 3 Thirds with stakemoney of $62,450.
 
Her fourth and final litter was to import Moral Standards. It produced a Vic Breeders winner in Witch Curse and a great brood bitch Witch Spell, who unfortunatey only had one litter due to complications whilst whelping her second litter that caused her to be speyed and that was to Awesome Assassin. That litter produced three time Group winner Magic Trance who had 58 Starts, 20 Wins, 11 Seconds and 8 Thirds with stakemoney of $119,238. Another member of the litter was dual Group runner up Killswitch who had a very impressive race record of 34 Starts for 17 Wins, 6 Seconds and 3 Thirds with stakemoney $23,393.
 
Witching Time is the "matriarch" who will long live on through stud dogs and brood bitches for many years to come.
